Handmade No Luck Charm w/ Night Vision Glow

  No Luck Charms were created to be a minimal carry and a backup to a backup, or a primary in given situations. The design though simple, allows the user to deploy it from a pocket in ANY orientation that it lay, employ it over ANY finger, and then reposition if needed. The rounded bottom coupled with the "hips" and finger insets, ensure a solid grasp that keeps the hand in proper anatomical alignment. 

  The finger stall was cut at an industry standard 1" and then hand filed to not only open it up, but create a contouring that feels like a La-Z-Boy for the employed finger. The outer walls of the Charm have been hand ground and rounded over, removing any hotspots that are normally encountered when using a product made for "situations". 

  After getting this piece to an almost finished state, I deeply engraved my 3LC branded Skull and "FIGHT" on the front side. The skull was inverted to allow the face and major areas of the illustration to glow, while leaving the "shaded" areas to remain brass. A mixture of my Night Vision Glow has been added to the engraving. For those that don't know, Night Vision Glow's main component is pure Identifire. 3Leaf Customs, LLC is proud to be the ONLY AUTHORIZED company outside of Identifire Safety to use their pigments in a product not their own.

  The back side of the No Luck Charm is engraved with my OG (original) logo and a continuation of text from the front, "& NEVER STOP". These markings are extremely deep as well, however not the same depth as the NV filled. 

  This NLC was a PAIN to work on! While the engravings were made very deep and widened out a bit, you'll find that there are still minor inclusions on the Night Vision face. Also, while working on the piece, I may or may not have added some of my own inclusions on the brass. Most of these have been sanded out to the extent possible, and do NOT affect the integrity of the product itself.

  I blackened the logos of the "OG" face before moving on, then the finger stall and outer walls of the Charm were brought to a beautifully smooth satin finish, while the faces were sanded to an extremely high grit. The end result is the appearance of an almost stonewashed finish!

  The accompanying bead was completely handmade from the stall of a 7/8" piece. This is smaller that what I normally offer in regards to a handmade bead, but I figured it would be pretty damn cool. It features both of the same logos as the No Luck Charm above, and has been finished in the same manner. Odie's Oil was applied to both pieces to help preserve the finish.

  Due to the raw nature of the brass, some patina may form before this arrives at its destination.
