Handmade Brass Helmet Cards

I initially made the Helmet Card to throw into the band of my fire helmet. I figured it would be a cool way to not only represent the mindset, but the brand as well. After posting pics of the first Card and then installed on my helmet, I received a pretty good amount of messages about them.
Each piece of artwork that I have done has an immense amount of meaning behind it. From the get, I've used Sosh to illustrate just exactly what I'm trying to communicate to the people, because the truth is, we are all not that far off from one another...
The art on the Helmet Cards has been modified to show up on the brass with a crisper and more defined look. The brass Card is approx 1/16" thick and has a special piece of artwork engraved on it as deep as I could go without cutting through when engraving the opposing side. Enlarge the pics and you'll see an extreme amount of detail!
For those that are interested, any Helmet Card that you purchase can be engraved (albeit not as deep as the front) with your name, a phrase, motivational quote, prayer, etc, if you like... at no extra cost.
These Helmet Cards will be numbered on the back side and also have my year marking on them (2025= Fireman's Axe).
Each card has been cut out and given a heavy satin finish. Once ordered, the card will be given another pass with a fine grit.
"Coin Toss"- represents the choices and decisions that you make each day from the moment that you wake up. Your choices are driven by opportunity or the power to do so, while decisions are the act of making up one's mind. Life isn't just a flip of the coin; You're in more control that some would have you think. Handle your business...whatever that may be. Don't look back.
"Until Death Firefighter"- the constellations represent one's family, the thing that you should hold most high above all else on this earth. The skeleton is facing whatever is coming his way... he doesn't cower, he doesn't look worried... he just faces it ready to do work. The skeleton itself symbolizes the fight until death to make sure that your most prized possession is protected and cared for, while the hot coals that he stands in represents the daily and current fight and obstacles one faces to provide and protect.
"No Luck Firefighter"- while this is an absolute fireman depicted here, this is the epitome of being prepared. One doesn't rely on luck when going into a dangerous situation; there is training both mentally and physically that must take place to be fully prepared. He stands upon a variety of crumbled good luck charms/objects. "Paratus" is latin for Prepared.
"Monster Within"- This illustration holds such a deep meaning. The man stands there listening and contemplating what the monster is telling him. The exchange of dialogue is intimate. The monster is something that we ALL have. It has protected us. It has let others know who we are and what we're capable of... however, that same monster has a tendency to come out when we don't want it to, or at a level that wasn't needed. This is something that can be a lifelong challenge to control. "You should be a monster, an absolute monster. And then you should learn how to control it..."
