"Freddy" No Luck Charm, Bead, & Zippo

  *No Luck Charms were created to be a minimal carry; a backup to a backup, or a primary means given the situation. The design of the NLC though simple, enables the user to deploy it from a pocket in any orientation that it lay, employ it over ANY finger, and then reposition if needed. The overall shape of the Charm with the rounded bottom, placement of the finger insets, and "hips" ensure that the user not only a comfortable, but secure grasp.

  This is a CNC Low Profile version of my No Luck Charm. In addition to that, this is the first CNC Charm with the new modifications to the finger stall to head out in the wild. Made of solid brass, the finger stall is an industry standard 1" with a slight elliptical shape at the floor of the stall. Each wall/border has a generous fillet (contouring) added to remove hotspots commonly encountered with products of this type. 

  Being that this is a "Low Pro" version of the No Luck Charm, it is much thinner than that of a handmade or even the "standard" thickness NLCs. Thickness is just under 3/8", making it easy to carry without weighing you down. Many choose this profile when they carry a lot of items in their pockets, for when they wear a suit, or even athletic clothing.

  The NLC has been DEEPLY ENGRAVED with "Freddy" on the front face. The opposing face has my OG 3Leaf Customs logo milled into it, with an engraved three leaf clover. I softened all of the edges and borders on this Charm, and then ground the faces to a smooth finish. Working through a series of grits up to a semi-polish on the faces.

  The accompanying bead is also solid brass, machined with a chamfer on top and bottom, with three rings encompassing it. 

  The lighter is a genuine Solid Brass Zippo Armor Case, which are 1.5 times thicker (stock) than that of their standard offering. Originally coming from the factory with a tumbled finish, I gave this a DEEP ENGRAVING on both sides. The front features "Freddy" with his claws out and the words, "Whatever you do... Don't fall asleep". The back side of the Zippo is another quote from the screen, "If you die in your dreams, you die for real!" 

  All pieces were given a matching finish. The entirety of the product has been double blackened. The sides have been hand rubbed to an antiqued look, while the faces have been softly sanded to a semi-polished distressed look. Odie's Oil has been applied to help richen the artwork.
