"Error 404" No Luck Charm (Circuit Board/Hyperglow/Black Canvas)

  I honestly don't know where to start with this one. I guess, as with anything, there's always a story behind it, and this piece is no different. Brian Elliott of PNW Toast Co and I finally had an opportunity to meet in person this year at Blade Show ATL 2025. While there, he brought back some amazing materials, with some of it being this awesome Circuit Board micarta! While I've seen circuit board used in this way, I have never seen it this thick! Fast forward a bit, Brian was gonna send me a chunk of it, but later said that he knew damn well that it would sit around for ages LOL.

  This "ERROR 404" No Luck Charm and Bead were completely handmade by Brian out of that Circuit Board, a Black Canvas Micarta center, and Green Hyperglow that he layered together in a beautiful way. The finger stall is an industry standard 1" diameter and has a nice hand contoured finish to it. When Brian finished this, he made sure to keep all of the "pads" (the silver circles) and the "traces" (conductive pathways) visible and intact!

  As if being made of the Circuit Board and Hyperglow wasn't cool enough, when taking a good look at it, you'll see a shift of colors, from green-to-browns as it works it way from the center outwards. In regards to the Hyperglow... there's really not much to say. If you have anything with Hyperglow, you know how awesome it is ;-)

  If you've read this far and are asking what exactly a No Luck Charm is, then here ya go... No Luck Charms were created to be a minimal carry, and a "backup to a backup" or even a primary "means" given the situation and what you have on you at that moment. The design, though simple, allows the user to DEPLOY IT from a pocket, pouch, or purse in ANY orientation that it lay, EMPLOY IT USING ANY FINGER, and then reposition if needed. The rounded bottom coupled with the "hips" and finger insets ensure that the user not only has a comfortable, but secure grasp.

  This NLC and bead were hand sanded to a satin finish. The winner of the auction may decide to have oil applied which will richen the overall look of the black micarta that is seated within the middle.
