CUE 03/2025 Black & Green Glow

Let's start off as per normal... CUEs while similar to a Challenge Coin, are not only thicker, but have a slightly smaller diameter. These were created to be a simple reminder or a call to action...

  Now, I'll tell ya, there have been so many people ask me to do black resin with a night glow to it; so here ya go. This CUE is made from 100% solid brass. The artwork on it is the same as our 2025 Challenge Coin, with my 3Leaf branded Skull on one side, and a 3 leaf clover on the other (there's more to it, but I'm at my son's baseball game, and you can check it out for yourself). One border of the CUE has "03/2025" and the other side has "Make your own luck".

  After deeply engraving the artwork into both sides, I sandblasted this piece to brighten it a bit and to create a micro-texture to hold onto the resin. The resin is a mixture of a beautiful pearlized black pigment with Identifire Green added to it. For those that don't know, Identifire is used the world over in the fire service to help mitigate visibility and accountability issues in dark or smokey environments. 3Leaf Customs, LLC is proud to be the only company outside of Identifire that is authorized to use their pigments in a product not made by them.

  While black pigment was added, you get more of a dark gray look (due to the pale color of the glow pigments). You'll see in the vids, even in the daylight, it absorbs light so easily that it has an immediate green look.

  The CUE was ground down to remove any excess resin, and then sanded through a series of grits all the way into the thousands, before giving a multi-compound polish... Just check out the videos; this is mirror-like!
