#22 Handmade No Luck Charm- Patina & Regrind (1 1/8" stall)

  - No Luck Charms were created to be a minimal carry and a backup to a backup... or a primary means given the situation. Though simple in design, the shape of the Charm allows the user to deploy it from your pocket, pouch, or purse in any orientation that it lay, employ it, and then reposition if needed. In addition to the latter, the NLC can be used over any finger and in a variety of holds, which is extremely important under stress. 

  This No Luck Charm was handmade from 1/2" solid brass and features a larger 1 1/8" finger stall that has been hand filed to a contouring that literally seats the finger. The outer body and edges of the Charm have been hand ground and shaped to round over any potential hotspots that might've been encountered with application. 

  The NLC was put through one of my patina processes that brought out a wide array of blues with brown and black speckling. Looking closely at the piece, it almost looks like multiple mini "pools of water who's edges are highlighted with vibrant bright blue. As with all of my patina work, this piece was given my signature regrind that "frames" the overall finish, drawing the eye to the beauty of the color. 

  My OG (original) logo has been engraved onto both sides of the Charm. The front side features the serial number "22", while the opposing side features the 2024 year marking (Lantern Flame). Three clear coats of an environmentally friendly product have been applied to help protect and preserve the finish.
