As much as I loved the idea, it was something that I couldn't just do out of respect. Then came a time when Rocky announced that he would no longer be making his \"Knuckleball\"... I reached out to him to let him know that I wanted to take over the idea, and received his blessing. As much as I loved Rocky's version, I knew that if I was going to do this, it would need a complete redesign... Which brings us to the Changeup!\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e  You won't find any hard lines on these. Being that the Changeup has been designed from the ground up to fit my style of mass contouring, know that everything has been rounded over with an extreme fillet (contoured edge) to remove any hotspots that would normally be encountered with products of this type. The finger stalls have been designed around an industry standard 1\" diameter, but then given an elliptical shape to allow the employed fingers to rest as close as anatomically possible. To add even more comfort, the stalls have been given a contouring that literally seats the fingers.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e  Each piece has had its \"stitches\" deeply engraved, along with \"3Leaf Customs\" and \"No Luck Needed\" on the upper and lower ends, and the Changeup logo on one of the outer sides. THE OTHER OUTER SIDE FEATURES AN ENGRAVING SIMILAR TO THE ICONIC LOGO USED IN \"THE SHOW\". MINOR CHANGES HAVE BEEN MADE.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e  Each engraving on this Changeup has been hand painted with an enamel. The stitches are red, just like you would find on a standard baseball, and the additional markings are all hand painted blue. This piece has been baked to help the enamel set prior to hand finishing.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e  The finger stalls were sanded\/ground to smooth out machining marks, and then the faces and stalls were conditioned to a buttery smooth finish. The faces have been ground to a satin finish.
